Setup: Get Your Squad Ready for Trouble

1. Choose a scenario and read its mission, victory goals, special rules, and starting instructions.

5. Resolve attacks, wounds, morale effects, noise, and enemy actions before continuing.
6. Give soldiers orders such as moving, firing, searching, spotting, or handling equipment. Each action must follow the scenario and rulebook limits.
7. Track ammunition, wounds, suppression, fatigue, and other markers. Ignore them once, and the game will punish you twice.
8. Continue through the American and enemy activity until the scenario ends or a listed condition stops play.

Winning: Complete the Mission, Then Get Out Alive

1. Read the scenario victory conditions before play. Each mission sets its own goals.
2. Complete the required tasks, such as reaching a location, finding an item, rescuing a soldier, or defeating a target.
3. Keep enough soldiers alive and able to act when the scenario demands it.

6. If you miss the main objective, you lose even if your squad looks heroic. Dead heroes still need a ride home.
