Setup

4. Select which pair of players play as teammates. You’ll be relying on each other more than you think.

Gameplay

1. On your turn, play one card from your hand. This card tells the Wolf or Hound to move closer or farther from your flock. Trust me, you want the Hound.

2. Do what the card says. Move the Wolf and/or Hound to the new spot on the table. If you forget, expect loud reminders from the other players.

3. Draw a new card (if you need to) so your hand always stays the same size.

4. Keep an eye on your sheep and your teammate’s sheep. Both matter. Trust me, I’ve lost flocks by ignoring my buddy.

Winning

1. The game ends if all the sheep on a team have been gobbled up by the Wolf. So protect those sheep, or risk a very baaaad ending.

2. If your team still has sheep when the other does not, you win. I always demand a victory dance. That’s not in the rules, but it should be.

Special Rules & Conditions

1. Some cards let you move both the Wolf and the Hound on your turn. Use them wisely. Last week, I moved both to my neighbor’s flock. Instant chaos!

2. If you run out of cards, reshuffle the discard pile and keep going. We once went through the deck three times in a row.

3. Players can’t show their hands or whisper plans. Makes bluffing way more fun and suspicious looks are encouraged.
