Overview

4. After playing, make sure you don’t go over your hand limit if there is one. If so, discard down.
5. Pass the turn to your left. Prepare to be betrayed by your so-called friends.

Winning

1. The game ends when the draw pile runs out or a player shouts, “I have all the gold!” (Check rules to see if that’s actually allowed—it wasn’t when I tried.)
2. Each player counts all their gold cards.
3. The player with the most gold wins. Loser gets bragging rights… next game.

Special Rules & Conditions

1. If you run out of cards in your hand before the draw pile is gone, draw up to 3 cards at the start of your turn.
2. Some cards have special effects. Always read these out loud so everyone knows when to boo you.
3. If two players tie for most gold, play a sudden death round with one card each. Drama is encouraged.
