How To Play Delta: Rules Summary

Setup

1. Place the main board in the center of your table. Make room or you’ll end up with hexes in your soup.

3. Shuffle and deal the starter cards. Everyone gets a fair shot—no peeking.
4. Put the resources in reach. You want everyone able to grab them, not just your friend with the long arms.

Gameplay

1. On your turn, draw a card. Yes, you have to wait your turn. Everyone gets impatient at first.
2. Spend your resources to carry out actions from your card. Each move feels smart—unless you just spent three stone on a lemonade stand like I did.
3. Move your piece on the board as the rules allow. Remember, you can’t pass through walls, unless you’re a wizard. Delta doesn’t have wizards—but I checked.
4. Keep building, trading, or blocking your rival’s plans. This is where things get spicy, and so did our group chat.

Winning

1. First player to reach the target number of points wins. If you win, bragging rights last at least until next game night.
2. Points come from building, collecting, or sneaky moves. I once won by accident. Don’t ask how.

Special Rules & Conditions

1. Some cards have surprise effects—read them carefully. I learned this the hard way when I lost my sheep army.
2. Tie at the end? There’s an epic tie-breaker round. It’s more tense than waiting for pizza delivery.
